Rene Marie Russo has been a supermodel, actress as well as a film maker in the United States. Her stunning beauty as well as her success in the film industry reflect her talents as an actor. In the 70s when she started her modeling career and quickly became one of the leading names in this field. The beginning of the following decade, she began studying acting and theatre prior to appearing on the stage in Los Angeles and elsewhere in California. Russo first appeared on screen on ABCs Sable drama in 1987. She portrayed Eden Kendell. The first film she acted in, Major League was released two years later. She was in 2005 when she was to a break, which was forced by herself. In the film Thor it was her return to acting. She also starred in her husbands Oscar prize-winning feature film Nightcrawler. She then went on to star in light-hearted comedies such as The Intern and Just Getting Started.
Rose Namajunas is one of the most successful female athletes within the UFC. She started out as an amateur fighter who participated in regional competitions prior to signing with Invicta Fighting Championships. Then she became a member of UFC Ultimate Fighting Championships. Due to her successes in and outside the Octagon, Namajunas has become known as a common name since joining UFC. Namajunas is born the 29th of June 1993 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to a Lithuanian Immigrant family. As a child, Rose was involved in sports such as basketball and kickboxing. At 18 years old she had her first professional fight at Invicta Fighting Championships where she took two wins by submission. Dana White was impressed and invited Rose to join the UFC's strawweight division at 22 years of age in December of 2014. Rose has had highs and lows throughout her professional career, however, she has always come out with a victory. Rose was a part of Carla Esparza to win the Women s Strawweight Championship in The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale. Rose won with a technical knockout that lasted under three minutes Round One. Rose was also given the title of Fighter Of The Night and set a record as it was the first time that a woman had ever competed in a tournament with a major promoter across the globe. Namajunas won a number of fights following her win that included beating Joanna Jedrzejczyk on two occasions. The win resulted in Namajunas Performance Of The Night awards from UFC.
